Spatial variation in the periods of ion and neutral waves in a solar magnetic arcade

We present a new insight into the propagation of ion magnetoacoustic and neutral acoustic waves in magnetic arcade lower solar atmosphere. By means numerical simulations, we aim to: (a) study two-fluid propagating embedded partially-ionized, atmosphere; (b) investigate impact background field configuration on observed wave-periods. consider 2D approximation gravitationally stratified partially-ionized atmosphere consisting ion+electron fluids that are coupled by ion-neutral collisions. In this model, convection below photosphere is responsible for excitation magnetoacoustic-gravity acoustic-gravity waves. find photosphere, where ions neutrals strongly collisions, have periods ranging from 250 s to 350 s. chromosphere, collisional coupling weak, wave characteristics depend configuration. Above foot-points considered arcade, plasma dominated vertical along which propagate. These exhibit broad range with most prominent 180 s, 220 300 main loop mostly horizontal lines guide waves, spectral power reduces period about longer wave-periods do not exist. Our results agreement recent observational data reported Wi\'sniewska et al. (2016) Kayshap (2018).
